Richard Brook
Richard Brook hails from bonnie Scotland and moved to London in 1995 to attend music college. Prior to this he was on the Scottish scene, playing at many balls for the local haggis hunt.
After leaving music college he was kindly asked back as a tutor where he stayed for 2 years.During this time a chance meeting with a member of the band Acoustic Alchemy led him to joining the band.
This led to extensive touring of the US and Europe including Hawaii and the St.Lucia Jazz Festival. He recorded "Live in St.Lucia" CD and DVD with the band.
After Acoustic Alchemy, Richard concentrated on the London Scene and worked with a variety of artists from pop to Jazz including Roger Daltrey, Girls Aloud, Victoria Beckham, Tot Taylor, Liberty X, Hall and Oats, "Rent", Avril Lavigne, The BBC, Mark Joseph,Rick Wakeman, Hatch Farm Studios, Geno Washington, Fugitive Production House, Boz Burrel, Tony Hadley, Patrizio Buanne, ABC (Martin Fry), Leo Sayer, Darius, Nick Heywood and The Sugar Babes. It was through meeting Deeral on the Victoria Beckham gig that Richard heard a vacancy had appeared in the Go West line up. With a recommendation from 'Snake Hips' himself, he got the job.
